Crossfire Equine Rescue | CF Bob’s Pepolena Cutter AQHA

CF Bob’s Pepolena Cutter AQHA

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION:

Bob’s Pepolena Cutter. AQHA registered. “Cutter” is very balanced, knows how to lunge but can be pushy. She knows if you know and she definitely knows if you don’t know. Would make a great horse for an experienced equestrian who can give her a refresher and a job! She is quick on her feat and cat like. A nicely built mare approx. 15hh, 2000 model, AQHA registered. She was left on the property her owners were selling and then acquired by the new buyers. They donated her to us to help her find a new life with a human with a matching skill set to ensure she has a bright future. She is a nice girl she leads, halters, fly spray, does okay for baths but does better with an experienced handler. Tons of potential with the right adopter in this well built girl!

Please note: All adoption contracts have a no breeding no resale clause.

Cutter was a blast to ride! She did great for me, she is soft in the mouth, turns well, stops, backs with ease, picks ups nicely into each different gait. Had a lot of fun riding her. She’s been in the arena, put on cows, outside the arena, desensitized, picks up all four feet, she is a nice AQHA registered mare with papers. She loads like a dream, toss the rope over and she hops in with you standing by the trailer. Alexa has done a great job of putting a good solid foundation on these two horses. Cutter is a 2000 model who is UTD on vacs/coggins and has had a recent float by one of our vets. She is coming straight out of training with our trainer who is on the A&M Rodeo Team and requires a confident advanced begginer rider. Located in Dayton, TX. Video available on our Instagram @crossfireequinerescue.

Cutter has moved out of training and is now located at our ranch where her training was followed up on and she was ridden by the adults and then some skilled equestrianettes. This girl has done a complete 180! She is now quite and so very, very sweet. She loves kisses and snuggles with her humans. Cutter has been handled and ridden by a confident 7 year old and a 13 year old who are both advanced beginners and know how to use their four riding aids. Cutter knows the difference between an adult rider and a child rider and actually preforms better with the girls. She soaks up the love everyone gives her and enjoys being doted on and having her hair braided. She has a lot to offer and continues to surprise us every day with how far she has progressed. She is a true example of giving a rescue horse the necessary tools to live a wanted and talented life. She is not a true beginner/dead head horse but for a knowledgeable rider with some confidence she is a dream come true. She is now low in the herd, one of the lowest and has not displayed any “mare like” behavior while she has been here. She enjoys being with humans, having a job and getting groomed. She does it all from grooming, riding, loading, bathing… she is a great girl!

Update: 2/7/2017

Cutter is on the mend and looking for love! The vet released her after a tendon injury for light work by a light rider.
