Captain Jack came from a grungy auction barn in the Houston area. He was skin and bones, his coat was caked in dirt along his top line and his entire tail was one big mat. Jack was a body score of 1 under a mound of filthy, shaggy old winter hair. He also had a tumor which we had removed.
Jack is a approx. 30-32 years old an estimate we got from several vets. He hates being locked in a stall for any amount of time that there is not grain in the stall with him. He has been destructive with mounted feeders and buckets, a refrigerator and the cats little bowl lol. He can open gates and just generally runs amuck when he gets to feeling frisky.
When this grampa is not painting the town red his favorite things to do are nap, sleep and nap. Captain Jack currently has about 100-200 pounds to gain before he is a whole horse again. For now we are happy that he is happy! He is UTD, in alignment and has a current coggins.
