Volunteer Information

We are super excited to announce our children’s program for all our little buckaroo’s out there! We learn basic to advanced hands-on equine skills such as grooming, bathing, and medicine, parts of the horse, illnesses and even riding! We currently offer mini-lessons for a bag of feed and private lessons during the week and weekend.

Children MUST BE 12 years or older to volunteer.

But don’t worry! We have a program for every age! Our “Little Bits” Program for kids 5-7 and our “Pony Tails” Program for kids 8-11 meets for safety classes and hands-on learning once a month.

Not a Kiddo? We still need you! We would love for any adults to come and help out around the barn as well. We also have online coordinator positions available such as Facebook admins, event coordinators, inspections coordinators etc.

There is a $10 fee for all adult volunteers which must be paid in advance to cover a background check before working with the kids and horses. You can pre-pay by clicking below.

Already have horse experience? We can use you! Trainers and advanced riders are welcome to become upper-level volunteers and work and ride the horses. A written and riding test will be given.

For more information on our volunteer and riding programs please fill out the PDF form  below along with the Liability Waiver and submit to our volunteer coordinator.
